CONTENTS
On July 7, 2021, Akari Therapeutics, Plc (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing it had entered into definitive agreements with certain accredited and institutional investors, led by existing investors of the Company, including Dr. Ray Prudo, the Company’s Chairman, to receive gross proceeds of approximately $12 million through the private placement of its equity securities. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
