Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On August 30, 2022, Denny’s Corporation (the “Company”) announced that Christopher D. Bode, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. This change will be effective today.

As previously announced by the Company, on August 24, 2022, John Dillon, formerly the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, was appointed to serve as President of Denny’s Inc., effective on September 1, 2022. Mr. Dillon will cease to serve in his current capacity at such time, and the Company will immediately launch an active search for a new Chief Marketing Officer.
