Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) On July 10, 2023, Eiry W. Roberts, M.D., notified Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (the “Company”) of her decision to retire in 2025 from her position as Chief Medical Officer of the Company. Dr. Roberts has not determined her last day of employment with the Company in 2025 and will remain in her position until her replacement has been on-boarded with the Company. The Company has initiated a search for a replacement Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Roberts plans to retire for personal reasons, not because of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
