Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On January 31, 2023, Joseph T. Liotine, President and Chief Operating Officer of Whirlpool Corporation (the ”Company”), will transition to an advisory role. Mr. Liotine will serve in this role through March 31, 2023 and then depart the Company. Marc R. Bitzer, Chairman and CEO, will immediately assume direct responsibility for global operations. The material terms of any amended compensation arrangements will be reported when finalized and approved by the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Directors.
