NOTICE TO THE MARKET

São Paulo, May 18, 2021 - BRASKEM S.A. (B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK) hereby informs its shareholders and the market that it received the ISO 37001, international standard that establishes rules of an Anti-bribery Management System, for the management and operation of the Compliance and Anti-bribery Management System (SGAS) at Braskem in Brazil, related to the production and sale of chemical and petrochemical products and the respective administrative support services.

This certification underlines Braskem's continuing commitment to work with ethics, integrity and transparency in all of its actions, and to enhance its general compliance and governance practices.
