Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On March 19, 2021, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Texas Roadhouse, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), named Gregory N. Moore as Chairman of the Board following Kent Taylor’s passing.   Mr. Moore joined the Board in 2005 following the Company’s initial public offering in 2004.  Mr. Moore has served as the Board’s Lead Director since the creation of that position in 2012.  Prior to joining the Board in 2005, Mr. Moore served as the Senior Vice President and Controller of Yum! Brands, Inc. until he retired in 2005. Yum! Brands is the worldwide parent company of Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut.
