Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 4, 2021, as part of an announcement by Nutanix, Inc. (the “Company”) that Mr. Christopher Nicholas Kaddaras Jr., the Company’s Chief Revenue Officer, would be resigning from the Company to pursue other opportunities (effective as of October 31, 2021), the Company confirmed that the financial performance for its fiscal quarter ending October 31, 2021 is expected to be on track with the guidance the Company shared on its earnings call on September 1, 2021. A copy of the Company’s announcement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
