On November 24, 2021, Nick Themelis notified MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) that he intends to retire from the Company. The Company has hired a new Chief Information Officer, who is currently on garden leave and will start with the Company on March 1, 2022. The Company plans to announce the new Chief Information Officer in the first quarter of 2022. Mr. Themelis will continue to serve as Chief Information Officer until his successor joins the Company, and following that date, the Company expects that he will continue to serve the Company as an advisor through February 2023.
