On April 25, 2024, Atlassian Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 (the “Press Release”). A copy of the Press Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein. The Company also published a letter to its shareholders announcing its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 (the “Shareholder Letter”). Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On April 25, 2024, Scott Farquhar, the Company’s Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer and director, announced that he will step down from his role as Co-Chief Executive Officer, effective as of August 31, 2024. At that time, Mike Cannon-Brookes, the Company’s Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer and director will continue as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Farquhar is expected to remain as a special advisor to the Company and serving as a member of its board of directors.
