Details of and the motivation for this special once-off retention restricted share award were included in the FY2021 and FY2022 Remuneration Reports with extensive shareholder engagement on the rationale. To this end and following the achievement of the related performance conditions, 16 280 or 50% of the award vested on 31 December 2022, with the vesting postponed to 2 March 2023 in line with the Implats closed period and release of H1 FY2023 results. The shares sold settled the associated tax liability on the award. The remaining 8710 vested shares will be retained and held by Ms Kerber. The balance of the remaining unvested special retention award will vest on 31 December 2023 subject to the achievement of the stipulated performance conditions.
