On December 8, 2021, Juan Pablo del Valle Perochena notified the Board of Directors of Johnson Controls International plc (the “Company”) that he will not seek re-election at the end of his term and will retire at the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held on March 9, 2022.Mr. del Valle Perochena’s decision not to stand for re-election was not due to any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
