Item 8.01.  Other Events.

 

On December 9, 2020, United Therapeutics Corporation issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted orphan drug designation for treprostinil for treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), along with the disclosure of FDA acceptance of an investigational new drug application for the phase 3 TETON study of Tyvaso® (treprostinil) Inhalation Solution in IPF. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
