Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On August 31, 2022, NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (Nasdaq: NWE) (NorthWestern) announced that Heather Grahame, General Counsel and Vice President – Regulatory and Federal Government Affairs, informed the company that she will retire from her position as of January 1, 2023.
In the same announcement, NorthWestern announced that, effective September 1, 2022, Curtis Pohl would move to a newly created role and become Vice President – Asset Management & Business Development. At the same time, Jason Merkel will move into an executive leadership role and succeed Mr. Pohl as Vice President – Distribution. There are no changes to Mr. Pohl’s existing compensation related to his new role.
NorthWestern also announced, effective January 1, 2023, that Cyndee Fang and Shannon Heim will join its executive team as, respectively, Vice President – Regulatory and Vice President and General Counsel.
