BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GE (NYSE:GE) announced today that to protect the health and safety of its shareholders, employees, directors and communities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, GE will hold its 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders in an online (virtual) format. The meeting will be held online only and will begin at 10:00 AM EDT on May 5, 2020, as previously scheduled.
Shareholders at the close of business on the record date (March 9, 2020) are entitled to participate in GE’s Annual Meeting, including to vote their shares and ask questions. The meeting can be accessed via the internet at: http://www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/GE2020.
Whether or not shareholders plan to participate in the virtual-only annual meeting, GE urges shareholders to submit their vote in advance of the meeting by one of the methods described in the previously distributed proxy materials.
Admission to the meeting. To be admitted to the virtual meeting with the ability to vote and ask questions, shareholders must enter their unique 16-digit voting control number, which may be obtained as described below.

Questions for the meeting. Shareholders as of the record date who attend and participate in the virtual Annual Meeting using their control number (as described above) will have an opportunity to submit questions during the meeting. We will try to answer as many shareholder-submitted questions that comply with the posted rules of conduct as time permits (whether submitted prior to or during the portion of the meeting when questions may be submitted).
