DECLARATION OF CAPITAL REDUCTION
Shareholders are hereby advised that the board of directors of the Company has approved and declared a
capital reduction of 33 cents per ordinary share, from a reduction of contributed tax capital, as a result of
the successful conclusion of the disposal of Etion’s shareholding in Law Trusted Third Party Services
Proprietary Limited.
As the distribution constitutes a return of contributed tax capital it will not be subject to dividends tax.
As at the date of this announcement, the Company has 564 411 033 ordinary shares of no par value in
issue.
The Company’s income tax reference number is 9040/188/64/2.
SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
Shareholders are hereby advised of the following salient dates for the payment of the capital reduction:
Last day to trade cum capital reduction Tuesday, 26 October 2021
Securities commence trading ex capital reduction Wednesday, 27 October 2021
Record date for purposes of determining the Friday, 29 October 2021
registered holders of ordinary shares to participate
in the capital reduction at close of business on
Payment date Monday, 1 November 2021
Share certificates may not dematerialised or rematerialised between Wednesday, 27 October 2021 and
Friday, 29 October 2021, both dates inclusive.
