Shareholders are advised that the Maputo Port Development Company, in which Grindrod holds an
indirect 24.7% stake, has published a press release indicating that a new handling record was
achieved at Port of Maputo during 2021. The total volume handled in 2021 was 22.2 million tonnes
against the 18.3 million tonnes in 2020.
