CHANGES TO ABSA GROUP BOARD COMMITTEES
In accordance with paragraphs 3.59 of the Equity Listings Requirements and 6.39 of the Debt Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are informed that Lead Independent Director Nonhlanhla
Mjoli-Mncube has been appointed as a member of the Group Credit Risk Committee (GCRC) and will take
over the chairmanship of the Board Finance Committee (BFC) from René van Wyk. René remains a
member of the BFC and continues to chair the Group Risk and Capital Management Committee and the
GCRC. Shareholders are further informed that independent non-executive director John Cummins has
been appointed as a member of the Information Technology Committee. All appointments are with effect
from 1 July 2022.
