TRADING STATEMENT


Heriot uses distribution per share as the measurement of financial results, and accordingly, in terms of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE, is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the
distributable earnings per share for the reporting period will differ by at least 15% from those of the previous
corresponding period.

In the company's results announcement for the year ended 30 June 2021 released on SENS on 30 September 2021,
the Board stated that it anticipated delivering growth of between 6% and 8% in distribution per share for the year
ending 30 June 2022.

The company is now able to advise that it expects distribution per share for the six months ended 31 December 2021
to be between 50,0 and 51,0 cents per share, being between 14.0% and 16.3% higher than the distribution per share
for the previous corresponding period.

The financial information contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Heriot's
auditors.
