ABSA GROUP REMUNERATION IMPLEMENTATION REPORT SHAREHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Following the Absa Group annual general meeting held on Friday, 3 June 2022, as a result of there being more than
25% of the votes exercised against the non-binding advisory vote number 2 (the remuneration implementation report),
shareholders are invited to raise their concerns or recommendations on our remuneration implementation report, by
means of a Microsoft Teams call with our Group Chairman, Sello Moloko, and the Chairman of our Group
Remuneration Committee, Rose Keanly, at 10:00 South African time on Thursday, 30 June 2022.

Shareholders who wish to participate in the Teams call are requested to register by contacting our Group Company
Secretary, Nadine Drutman, at the email address below, copying groupsec@absa.africa, by Tuesday, 28 June 2022,
to obtain further details of the call.
