APPOINTMENT OF LEAD INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
The board of directors of Growthpoint (the “Board”) is pleased to
advise that Mr Andile Sangqu, who is currently an independent
non-executive director, has been appointed as the Lead
Independent Director (LID) of the Company with effect from 1 July
2022.
Mr Sangqu was appointed to the Growthpoint Board in September
2020 and is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Social,
Ethics and Sustainability Committee and a member of the Audit
Commitee.
The Board congratulates Andile on his appointment.
