DAMAGE TO THE RIDGE@SHALLCROSS SHOPPING CENTRE DUE TO LOOTING

Unitholders are advised that, as a result of the violence and looting currently affecting large
parts of South Africa, particularly KwaZulu-Natal, and despite precautionary measures having
been taken, the Fund’s The Ridge@Shallcross Shopping Centre in Shallcross, KwaZulu-Natal
(“the Ridge”) has been looted and has suffered significant damage. Further reports have been
received that section(s) thereof have been set on fire.

As the situation remains volatile and the Ridge is not accessible to the security services
provider and staff of the Ridge at this time, the full extent of the damage cannot be assessed.
The Ridge is, however, fully insured from both a capital and income perspective.

No other properties of the Fund have been affected by the violence and looting.

Further information will be provided to unitholders when available.
