DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY – PLEDGE OF SHARES
Shareholders are advised that Mr Myron Pollack, a non-executive director of the company, has entered into an
agreement with The Standard Bank of South Africa ("Standard Bank") in terms of which Standard Bank advanced
a flexible overdraft facility to Mr Pollack against security of a pledge and cession by Mr Pollack of 1 460 912
Octodec shares (in which he has a direct beneficial interest), with a value of R11 175 976.80 (being at a price of
R7.65 per share). The above transaction was conducted off-market.
The facility is an ongoing facility which is reviewed on an annual basis and has no specific end date.
