SUMMARY AUDITED CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2021


SALIENT FEATURES

Revenue increased by 6% to R5 401 million, from R5 095 million in the prior corresponding period.

Operating profit (before items of a capital nature)* decreased by 34% to R144 million, from R220 million in the prior corresponding period.

Headline earnings per share decreased by 35% to 52.2 cents per share, from 80.5 cents per share in the prior corresponding period.

Earnings per share decreased by 33% to 53.9 cents per share, from 80.1 cents per share in the prior corresponding period.

No final dividend has been declared for the year ended 30 September 2021 (2020: 10 cents per share).

* Income or expenditure of a capital nature in the statement of comprehensive income, i.e. all profit or loss items that are excluded in the calculation of
  headline earnings per share. The principal items excluded under this measurement are profits or losses on disposal of property, plant and equipment, and
  on disposal of interest in associate.
