TRP121 : NOTIFICATION OF ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


In compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“Act”) and
regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations 2011, shareholders are
informed that Sappi received the following notification on 20 December 2021:

-   acquisition of shares by Ninety One SA (Pty) Ltd on behalf of its clients, such that
    Ninety One SA’s total beneficial interest in the Company as of 20 December 2021
    has increased to 10.3277% of the issued capital of the Company.
