Further to the cautionary announcement released on the Stock Exchange News
Service of the JSE Limited on 22 December 2021, shareholders are advised
that Sanlam and Allianz SE continue to explore various strategic options in
relation to their respective African business units (excluding South Africa).
If these strategic alternatives result in a transaction which is successfully
concluded, it may have a material effect on the price of the Company’s
securities. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue exercising
caution when dealing in the Company’s securities, until a further
announcement is published.
