CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are hereby advised that Brendan Michael Deegan (60) has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director and a member of the
Company’s Audit, Risk and Nominations Committees, respectively, with effect from
15 August 2022.
Mr. Deegan is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Ireland and South Africa) and a
former partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) in South Africa. His roles at PwC
included, inter alia, Head of the South Africa and Africa Audit/Assurance practices,
Chair of the Africa Governance Board and Head of the Global Internal Audit practice.
He was involved with and advised many large multinational companies over a
number of years.
