COMPLETION OF DIVESTMENT OF A PORTFOLIO OF SIX SOUTH AFRICAN PRODUCTS TO ACINO
Shareholders are referred to the announcement of 22 October 2021 wherein it was confirmed that Aspen
has concluded an agreement with Acino Pharma AG ("Acino") (a company incorporated in Switzerland), in
terms of which Acino will acquire a product portfolio of six products from Pharmacare Limited, a wholly
owned South African subsidiary of Aspen Holdings, for a consideration of approximately R1.8 billion, plus
the cost of the related inventory (“the Transaction”).
Aspen is pleased to confirm that all material conditions precedent have been fulfilled, and that the
Transaction closed earlier today.
