ANNOUNCEMENT IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 (1) and (3) of the COMPANIES ACT– DISPOSAL AND
ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES
In accordance with section 122(3) (b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”) and section 3.83(b)
of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Alviva has received f ormal
notif ication in the prescribed f orm f rom Tham Investments Proprietary Limited (“Tham”) that the benef icial
interest in the securities of the Company held by Tham has decreased by 11.67% f rom 17.95% to 6.28%.
Shareholders are f urther advised that, in accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71
of 2008 (“the Act”) and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Alviva has also received
f ormal notif ication in the prescribed f orm f rom DY Investments 3 Proprietary Limited (“DY”) that the
benef icial interest in the securities of the Company held by DY has increased f rom 0% to 11.67% of the
total issued shares of the Company.
Both Tham and DY are 100% black-owned companies and are associated in that a director and shareholder
of DY is also a director of Tham.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company has f iled the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
