Shareholders are referred to the Q1 trading update provided to the market on December 1st 2021 for the 4 months to October 2021 and are further advised that overall trading remained positive through November and December. The strong momentum was partially impacted by the short-term consequences arising from the rapid spread of the COVID omicron variant through many of its operating jurisdictions, which are now easing. A full update on trading performance will be presented with the release of Bidcorp’s interim results on February 23rd 2022. Accordingly, management is pleased to advise that headline earnings per share (HEPS) is expected to increase by between 68% (657,9 cents per share) and 73% (677,5 cents per share) compared to the comparative half-year period ended December 31 2020 (391,6 cents per share), with basic earnings per share (EPS) expected to increase by between 43% (642,4 cents per share) and 48% (664,8 cents per share) compared to the comparative period ended December 31 2020 (449,2 cents per share).
