CHANGE IN SPONSOR


In accordance with paragraph 2.6 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the board of directors of Cognition
(“Board”) wishes to advise shareholders that the Sponsor services provided to the Company by Merchantec
Capital will come to end on 8 April 2022 following the Board’s decision to align the Company’s JSE reporting
processes with those of its major subsidiary, Caxton and CTP Publishers and Printers Limited (“Caxton”).

Further to the above, the Board is pleased to advise shareholders that it has appointed AcaciaCap Advisors
Proprietary Limited, Sponsor to Caxton, as Sponsor to the Company with effect from 11 April 2022.
