CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - APPOINTMENT OF CEO


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, and further to the
announcements released on SENS on 10 December 2021 and 20 January 2022 respectively, the board of
directors of Cognition (“the Board”) is pleased to confirm that its acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr Robert
Charles Henry Fedder has been appointed to the position in a permanent capacity and has further been
appointed as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 4 March 2022.

The Board welcomes Mr. Fedder and looks forward to his contribution to the company. He has contributed
significantly to the turnaround process of the Company in the last three months.
