CHANGE TO THE BOARD: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER STEPS DOWN


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of directors
("the Board") hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr. Mark Smith has stepped down as chief executive
officer (“CEO”) of Cognition Holdings Limited with immediate effect. Mark presently remains as a non-
executive director of the Company.

Mr. Robert Fedder, is not currently appointed to the board but will be appointed as acting CEO of the
Company with immediate effect for an initial period of three months. Robert has a B.Com in Financial
Management. He is Management Turnaround Specialist and was Managing Director of Tidy Files and
Cleardata, a part of Metrofile Holdings.
