APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Clicks Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Ramon as an
independent non-executive director with effect from 7 February 2023.

Ms Ramon is a highly experienced corporate financial executive with extensive
board expertise. A chartered accountant, she served as chief financial officer and
as an executive director until 30 June 2022 of gold mining company, AngloGold
Ashanti for eight years, including a year as interim chief executive officer. Prior to
that Christine was the chief financial officer of the energy and chemicals
company, Sasol for 7 years. Before joining Sasol, Christine was CEO at Johnnic
Holdings, a media and entertainment company.

Ms Ramon is currently a non-executive director of Vodafone plc and a member of
the Presidential State-Owned Enterprises Council. She was previously a director
of MTN Group, World Gold Council, International Council on Mining and Metals,
Lafarge France, International Federation of Accountants and the Financial
Reporting Standards Council of South Africa (deputy chairman).

Clicks Group chairman David Nurek said: “Christine’s wide-ranging financial,
strategic and leadership experience in large listed companies, together with her
governance experience, make her an asset for any board. We believe she will
add considerable value to the group in the areas of financial and capital
management, risk, governance and general board oversight.”

Ms Ramon will be appointed to the Clicks Group remuneration and nominations
committee, and will be a standing invitee to the audit and risk committee.

The Clicks Group board will now comprise seven independent non-executive
directors and two executive directors, with 67% black and 44% female
representation on the board.
