CHANGE OF FINANCIAL YEAR END


Shareholders are referred to previous announcements published on SENS relating to
repurchases of shares by Safari as well as the offer by Heriot REIT Limited (“Heriot”) to
acquire some or all of the ordinary shares in Safari which has resulted in Heriot obtaining
control of Safari, and thus consolidating it from the date control was obtained. Shareholders
are advised that Safari has changed its financial year-end from 31 March to 30 June to align
its financial year-end with that of its parent company, Heriot.

In compliance with paragraph 3.15 of the JSE Listings Requirements, Safari will:

-   issue and distribute an integrated report and notice of annual general meeting
    (incorporating the audited annual financial statements for the 12 months ended
    31 March 2023), by no later than 31 July 2023;
-   publish interim results for the 6 months ending 30 September 2023, by no later than
    31 December 2023;
-   publish reviewed interim results for the 12 months ending 31 March 2024, by no later than
    30 June 2024; and
-   issue and distribute an integrated report and notice of annual general meeting
    (incorporating the audited annual financial statements for the 15 months ending
    30 June 2024), by no later than 31 October 2024.

Following the change in financial year-end, Safari’s distribution periods will be for the 6-month
and 12-month periods ending 31 December and 30 June, respectively.
