SHORT-FORM ANNOUNCEMENT: UNAUDITED CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED INTERIM FINANCIAL
RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 28 FEBRUARY 2023.

1. Highlights

• Revenue increased by 28% to R1 billion from R792 million in the prior corresponding financial
period.
• Loss before tax increased by 203% to R258 million from R85 million in the prior corresponding
financial period.
• Loss per share increased by 130% to 79.06 cents per share from 34.31 cents per share in the
prior corresponding financial period.
• Headline loss per share per share increased by 125% to 79.13 cents per share from 35.09 cents
per share in the prior corresponding financial period.

2. 2023 Unaudited interim results

The Company wishes to inform shareholders that the full announcement in respect of the
unaudited condensed consolidated interim financial results for the six months ended 28 February

Notice is hereby given that no dividends have been declared for the six months ended 28 February
2023 (2022: 35 cents).
