As stated in the Announcement, the advisory endorsement relating to the Nedbank Group Remuneration Implementation Report (the Report) was voted against by 25,24% of Nedbank Group shareholders represented at the AGM. The Group invited the shareholders who voted against the advisory endorsement to engage with the Group by submitting written questions/comments to the Group Secretary by no later than 17:00 on Friday, 9 June 2023, to enable the Group to engage with those shareholders with regard to the Report. Shareholders are advised that no questions or comments were received by the Group Secretary in response to the above invitation, and therefore no specific engagements will be scheduled to discuss the aforementioned endorsement. Nedbank Group will continue to engage with shareholders at its annual governance roadshows, biannually at its results roadshows, and the Group remains available, between those formal engagements, to receive investors’ views on, inter alia, remuneration matters.
