TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2023

Shareholders are advised that the Company’s earnings per share and
headline earnings per share are expected to be at least 30% (63
cents) higher for the six months ended 30 June 2023 when compared
to the earnings per share and headline earnings per share of 209
cents and 210 cents respectively for the six months ended 30 June
2022. A further trading statement for the six months ended 30 June
2023 will be released on SENS once the Company has reasonable
certainty regarding the extent of the expected increase in its
results for the six months ended 30 June 2023.

The expected increase in earnings is mainly due to stronger market
conditions in 2023.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based
has not been reviewed and reported on by the Company’s external
auditors.

The results for the six months ended 30 June 2023 are expected to
be announced on SENS on or about 8 September 2023.
