TRADING STATEMENT AND PUBLICATION DATE OF FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS
ENDED 30 JUNE 2023
The STADIO Group utilises core headline earnings to measure and benchmark the underlying performance of
the business. Core headline earnings represents headline earnings adjusted for certain non-recurring items
that, in the view of the Company’s board of directors (“Board”), may distort the financial results from period to
period.
We are pleased to report that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that core headline earnings per share
(“Core HEPS”) for the six-month period ended 30 June 2023, will be between 13.4 cents and 13.8 cents, being
between 18.6% and 22.1% higher than the 11.3 cents reported for the six-month period ended 30 June 2022.
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement
as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will
differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that, for the six-month
period ended 30 June 2023:
• Earnings per share (“EPS”) will be between 13.4 cents and 13.8 cents, being between 19.6% and 23.2%
higher than the EPS of 11.2 cents reported for the six-month period ended 30 June 2022.
• Headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) will be between 13.3 cents and 13.7 cents, being between 19.8%
and 23.4% higher than the HEPS of 11.1 cents reported for the six-month period ended 30 June 2022.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based, has not been reviewed or reported on by
the Company´s external auditors.
The interim financial results for the six-month period ended 30 June 2023 are expected to be published on or
about Wednesday, 30 August 2023.
