RESIGNATION OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Truworths International Limited (the ‘Company’) announces in terms of paragraph 3.59 of the
JSE Limited Listings Requirements that Ms Cindy Hess, an independent non-executive director
of the Company, has advised of her resignation with immediate effect in order to take up a
full-time management position with another listed company with effect from 18 July 2022.

Ms Hess joined the board of the company on 1 May 2019 and was appointed as a member of
the Company’s audit committee with effect from 1 January 2021. The Company would like to
thank Ms Hess for her contribution to the board and the audit committee over this period.

The Company advises that a further announcement will be made in due course regarding
Ms Hess’ replacement on the audit committee.
