Appointment of an Acting Finance Director

Further to the announcement published on SENS on 27 July 2023 wherein the Company advised that Craig Miller has been
appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Anglo American Platinum with effect 1 October 2023, shareholders are advised that
Ms Sayurie Naidoo has been appointed as acting Chief Financial Officer, with effect from 1 September 2023.

Sayurie has been with Anglo American Group for over 15 years and is a registered CA(SA). She has held various financial roles
within Anglo American and is currently the Financial Controller responsible for financial reporting, performance reporting,
corporate cost control activities, governance, and controls as well as finance systems. Sayurie holds directorships and
trusteeships at various subsidiary companies and trusts.

The process to identify a suitable candidate for the Executive Finance Director role is progressing and a further announcement
will be made in due course.
