HULAMIN LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Registration number 1940/013924/06 JSE Code: HLM ISIN: ZAE000096210 (“Hulamin”, the “Group” or the “Company”) CHANGES TO THE BOARD In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements, the board of directors of the Company (“Board”) is pleased to announce that Mr Meganathan Gounder (Mark), the current chief financial officer (“CFO”) of the Company, has been appointed as the chief executive officer (“CEO”) of Hulamin with effect from 1 December 2023. Mark will replace Mr Geoff Watson, who was previously an independent non-executive director and was appointed as the interim CEO on 1 October 2022. Geoff will return to the role of non-executive director with effect from 1 December 2023. Mark joined Hulamin on 1 April 2021 as the CFO. During his tenure as CFO, he has developed a deep understanding of Hulamin and has been instrumental in leading a number of key strategic projects, including successfully implementing an enterprise-wide transformation journey focused on streamlining processes and driving efficiencies across the entire business. His extensive background and wealth of experience makes him an excellent fit for the CEO role. The Board is pleased to appoint a strong internal candidate as the CEO and looks forward to Mark’s continued contribution to Hulamin. Ms Pravashni Nirghin, currently the Company’s Head of Financial Reporting, will be appointed as the interim CFO of the Company with effect from 1 December 2023. Pravashni is an experienced CA(SA) finance professional with over 17 years’ experience. She joined Hulamin in 2022 from Vodacom, where she held various key finance positions. She is skilled in managing overall finance functions, group and statutory financial reporting, financial planning and achieving strategic business objectives in an effective manner. The Board would like to express its appreciation to Geoff for his contribution to the Company during his tenure as interim CEO. The Nomination Committee will commence the process to appoint a permanent CFO and an announcement will be made in due course.
