CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE


In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Listing Requirements, shareholders are advised of the following
changes to the Board of directors of the Company (“the Board”):


The Board announces the appointment of Busisiwe Silwanyana and Johann (Jurie) Strydom as
independent non-executive directors. Both directors will serve on the Actuarial, Audit and Risk
committees.


Busi Silwanyana (CA)SA holds a BCom (Financial Accounting), BCom (Hons) and Postgraduate Diploma
in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from Durham University in the United
Kingdom, and is a member of The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).


Jurie Strydom holds a BBusSc (Hons) from the University of Cape Town in Actuarial Science, is a Fellow
of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom, a CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute in the
United States and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan Fellow).


The appointments of Busi and Jurie are in accordance with the succession plans for the Old Mutual
board. The Prudential Authority advised the Company on 4 December 2023 of the approval of their
appointments.


The Old Mutual Board would like to welcome Busi and Jurie as directors and look forward to working
with them.
