The Company announces that Ian Ashby, an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company,
was appointed as an independent director of Suncor Energy on 18 July 2022. Suncor Energy is listed
on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.

This notification satisfies the Company's obligations under Listing Rule 9.6.14 (2).
