Appointment of Company Secretary


Shareholders of the Company are hereby advised that, in accordance with paragraph 3.59(a)
of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the Board of Directors of Sea Harvest (the “Board”)
has appointed Ms Simone Shayanne Gounden as Company Secretary with effect from
1 June 2022.
Ms Gounden graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of KwaZulu-
Natal. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa as well as a member of
the Maritime Law Association of South Africa. Ms Gounden joined the Company in 2018 as
Strategic Services Manager and has been extensively involved in the recently concluded
fishing rights allocation process. In 2020, Ms Gounden further honed her skills by completing
courses in Financial Management and Commercial and Contract Law from the University of
Cape Town.
The Board welcomes Ms Gounden and wishes her well in her new role.
