TRADING STATEMENT IN RESPECT OF THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2022

In compliance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the Namibian Stock Exchange,
FirstRand Namibia Limited shareholders are advised that the group's earnings for the year ended 30 June
2022 are expected to be materially higher than the comparative period by between 15% to 25%.

The main drivers of the increase in earnings are largely due to the decrease in impairments mainly related
to an improved operating environment, IFRS 9 forward-looking macro models and Covid-19-related
judgmental overlays that were recognised in the prior year.

Headline earnings and earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2022 will be materially higher than
the prior year by between 15% to 25%.

FirstRand Namibia Limited are advising all securities holders that the forecast financial information has not
been reviewed and reported on by our auditors. The group’s audited financial results will be released on
or about 15 September 2022.
