TSOGO SUN LIMITED Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa Registration number: 1989/002108/06 Share code: TSG ISIN: ZAE000273116 (“Tsogo Sun” or “the Company”) TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SHARES In compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008), as amended (“Companies Act”) and paragraph 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that Tsogo Sun has received notification from Ninety One SA Proprietary Limited (“Ninety One”), that Ninety One, on behalf of its underlying clients, has acquired a beneficial interest in Tsogo Sun shares, such that the aggregate beneficial interests in Tsogo Sun shares held by Ninety One, on behalf of its underlying clients, now comprises 5% of the total issued capital of Tsogo Sun. As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Tsogo Sun has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel. In making this announcement, the Tsogo Sun Board has relied on the accuracy of the information contained in the notification from Ninety One and accepts responsibility for such information as it relates to the Company. The Board confirms that to the best of its knowledge and belief, this information is true, and this announcement does not omit anything likely to affect the importance of this disclosure.
