FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT


Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released on the Stock Exchange
News Service of the JSE Limited on 31 March 2025 advising shareholders, inter alia:

•   that the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa SOC Limited (the “IDC”) had
    provided ArcelorMittal South Africa with a facility in the amount of R1 683 million (the “IDC
    facility”) which has enabled the Company to defer the wind down of ArcelorMittal South
    Africa’s Long Steel Business (“Longs Business”) for an initial period of 6 months, up to 31
    August 2025 (“Deferral Period”);
•   that the IDC facility is part of a comprehensive package of intended initiatives aimed at
    positioning the Longs Business for future sustainability and profitability;
•   that as a condition to the IDC facility, ArcelorMittal South Africa agreed that the IDC may
    conduct a due diligence exercise on the Company during the Deferral Period;
•   that the Company is considering various strategic alternatives; and
•   to exercise caution when dealing in the Company's securities until a further announcement
    is made.

The Deferral Period should have been 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025 and the IDC and
ArcelorMittal have subsequently entered into letter of amendment to refer to the correct Deferral
Period.

Further announcements will be made regarding these matters as and when appropriate.

Shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the Company's
securities until a further announcement is made.
