DECLARATION OF DIVIDEND Taking into account the earnings and cash flow performance for the year ended 30 June 2022, existing debt service commitments, future proposed investments and funding options, notice is hereby given that the Board has declared an increased gross dividend of 24%, which is paid from income reserves, of 326 cents per ordinary share to shareholders (or 260,8 cents net of a 20% dividend withholding tax, where this maximum rate of tax applies) recorded in the share register of the Company at the close of business on 23 September 2022 (2021: 262 cents per share). Shareholders should seek their own advice on the tax consequences associated with the dividend and are particularly encouraged to ensure their records are up to date with Aspen so that the correct withholding tax is applied to their dividend. The Company income tax number is 9325178714. The issued share capital of the Company is 446 252 332 ordinary shares. The directors are of the opinion that the Company will, subsequent to the payment of the dividend, satisfy the solvency and liquidity requirements in terms of sections 4 and 46 of the Companies Act, 2008. Future distributions will continue to be decided on a year-to-year basis.
