SOCIAL AND ETHICS COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS

Further to the announcement of 1 September 2022 advising shareholders of, inter alia,
the retirement of Mr Mike Thompson, the board of Truworths International Limited (the
‘company’) announces the following appointments in respect of the company’s Social and
Ethics Committee (the ‘Committee’) with effect from 1 October 2022, in terms of
paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements:

   •   Mr Thabo Mosololi, who has been an independent non-executive director of the
       company since May 2021, has been appointed as chairman of the Committee.

   •   Mr Hilton Saven, who has been an independent non-executive director of the
       company and board chairman since February 2003, has been appointed as a
       member of the Committee.
