REGISTRATION OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION: AMENDMENT OF                                    ARTICLES   OF
ASSOCIATION ALLOWING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF OWN SHARES


Further to the 07 April 2022 Special General Meeting, Shareholders are hereby informed of the
registration of the special resolution amending the Articles of Association to allow FirstRand
Namibia Ltd to acquire its own shares. The registration by the Registrar of Companies is dated
21 April 2022, being the date that the amended articles take effect.

Any acquisition of own shares will be subject to a further special resolution where shareholders
will be required to vote in favour or against the specific acquisition of shares.
